ACTE CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

PARTICIPATE IN ACTE'S LEADERSHIP

ACTE is seeking professionals who want to share their experience and expertise with their corporate travel colleagues by serving on ACTE’s Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Board of Director for the following open seats; Asia-Pacific, Canada, At-Large, & Tresurer-Elect, please use the form below to submit your nomination. In order for a nomination to be eligible the nominator must be an ACTE member.

All candidates must be ACTE members in good standing, be committed to the association's global standards for business travel management, and meet the specified qualification criteria for the desired leadership position (see position descriptions below).

Open Positions

Nominations are being sought for the following ACTE leadership positions. All terms will run from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2011.

• Asia-Pacific Board of Director (3 year term)

  Deadline for nominations: September 1, 2008

  Elected by the members of the Asia Pacific Region.
  Voting period will open in November and results will be announced in December 2008.

• Canada Board of Director (3 year term)

  Deadline for nominations: September 15, 2008

  Elected by the members of the Canada region.
  Voting period will open in October and results will be announced at the Canada Regional Education Conference in Toronto, 16-18 November.

• At-Large Board of Director (3 year term)

  Deadline for nominations: September 1, 2008

  Elected by all ACTE members.
  Voting period will open in November and results will be announced in December 2008.

• Tresurer-Elect (3 year term)

  Deadline for nominations: September 1, 2008

  The Treasurer-Elect is appointed by the ACTE Board of Directors.
  The appointment will be announced in October 2008.
