Public Policy & Advocacy

ACTE serves as a global advocacy platform for our international membership on critical issues and topics facing the industry. On behalf of the membership, ACTE files commentary and testimony before international organizations, governmental institutions, business organizations, and not-for-profit entities on a variety of matters. Safety, security, privacy, health, service, corporate social responsibility, and taxation are just a few of the areas in which ACTE speaks out for international and domestic travelers, and for the corporate consumer worldwide. This web page, titled “Public Policy & Advocacy,” is an archive of current and previous advocacy stances taken by ACTE leadership on your request and behalf. Each position is based on ACTE member surveys, studies or recommendations submitted by an advisory group.
